Israel can never be recognised: Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman

Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said that the state of Israel can never be recognized, accusing Muslim rulers of failing to protect the interests of their people and remaining silent on the ongoing genocide in Palestine, 24NewsHD TV reported on Saturday.

Addressing a gathering, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that Jamaat-e-Islami fully supports Hamas, while accusing Israel of repeatedly violating peace agreements.

He said lasting peace in Gaza would not be possible unless Israel withdraws from the area.

“The entire Muslim Ummah stands with the Palestinian people,” he said, adding that Hamas should be recognized globally for its resistance.

He reiterated that Muslim rulers have failed to safeguard public interests and have not taken meaningful steps to address injustices faced by Palestinians.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman further said that Pakistan is the only nuclear power in the Muslim world, stressing the need for unity and decisive leadership.

He also criticized global inequality, stating that the world’s resources remain under the control of a small elite.

He urged Muslim countries to adopt a principled stance on Palestine and play their role in restoring justice and peace in the region.
