The Lahore High Court (LHC) has summoned First Lady Bushra Bibi’s son on February 24 in a case of alleged kidnaping for ransom in connivance with police.
The court of Justice Muhammad Anwarul Haq called Ibrahim Maneka, one of five children of the first lady she had from her ex-husband Khawar Maneka.
Petitioner Muhammad Hasan alleged Ibrahim held up his brothers and demanded Rs15 million as ransom for their release. He claimed one of his brothers Ejaz and Ibrahim were partners in a real estate business.
He continued: “An amount of Rs1 million including profit has been provided to Ibrahim. We are paying for repair of Ibrahim’s luxurious vehicle as an accident was too blamed on Ejaz. A rented vehicle is also arranged but Ibrahim demand Rs15 million, he added.
