CTD arrests two Daesh militants in Peshawar

Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Peshawar on Sunday claimed to have arrested two men, said to be associated with Daesh, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Two hand-grenades and two pistols were also seized from them. They have been identified as Abdul Wahid and Hazrat Khan

According to details, the Counter-Terrorism Department Peshawar received a tip-off that some terrorists of the international terrorist organization ISIS were moving from Khyber District to Peshawar District for the purpose of carrying out a terrorist operation. 

At the same time, two persons appeared on a motorcycle who tried unsuccessfully to escape from the motorcycle as soon as they saw the police party.

The Counterterrorism Department Peshawar has registered a case against the arrested terrorists of the international terrorist organization ISIS under the Anti-Terrorism Act 1997 and appointed an investigation team from which further revelations are expected.
