Peshawar University students staged a protest on Wednesday to press for their demand of taking online papers instead of on-campus examination, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The students gathered in front of the Vice-Chancellor office at Peshawar University and demanded that when there were online classes then the exams should be conducted online.
The university students also demanded waiving the examination fee and to restore the student union at the earliest, the TV channel reported.
Separately, female students of the University of Jhang also protested against the on-campus examinations and demanded online papers via the same online pattern they received the lectures during the semester.
Students blocked the Chiniot Road after which the Jhang University administration closed the main gates of the varsity. Female students claimed teachers threatened them in the protest against online papers.
However, the Jhang University administration said the final decision will be taken by the Lahore College Women University about the online or on-campus papers.
Students also staged a protest in Islamabad on Tuesday demanding online exams.
