The Pakistan Democratic Movement has summoned its steering committee meeting today (Friday) to deliberate on the PPP long march going to be held in February and to prepare recommendations regarding second phase of KP local government elections, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

Sources have informed that before the PDM parliamentary heads’ meeting, the movement has convened its steering committee huddle tomorrow. The session will be conducted via video link. 

The steering committee will deliberate on the PDM’s long march announced to be taken out on March 23. It will review the PPP’s long march going to be held in next month and prepare its recommendations in this regard. 

The meeting will chalk out proposals on the local government elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa slated to be held on March 27. 

Sources say the committee will also scribble a reply on election commission’s scrutiny report on PTI foreign funding accounts. 

It is pertinent to mention here that the PDM parliamentary heads’ meeting will be held on Jan 25 at the PML-N Secretariat in Islamabad.
