At least three people died and scores of others sustained wounds as heavy rain played havoc in parts of the country on Tuesday, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported.

Downpour inflicted serious damage in KP and Punjab. A young daughter of Syed Nisar in Parachinar died in roof collapse. The tragedy took place in Lower Kurram area of the KP town.

The second incident took place in a village Bacho Sehto of Sajawal, southern Punjab where a man and his son were electrocuted. Safar Sehto sustained an electric shock and his father rushed to rescue him. The bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital Sajawal.

The roof a house collapsed in the Insar Colony of Pindi Bhattian, wounding three people seriously.  The injured included two women. Rescuers shifted them to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.
