Four including two kids electrocuted during rain in Lahore
Heavy rain poured in Lahore on Wednesday afternoon and at least five citizens including three children lost their lives due to electrocution in three different incidents.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, two children named Zubair (12-year-old) and Saifullah (10-year-old) were electrocuted in Charar village of Defense A area.
The third brother of the deceased kids Sohaib (8-year-old) was also burnt by electric shock and shifted to the General Hospital in critical condition.
The locals told the channel that the unlucky three children were playing in the rain in the street when they were electrocuted.
A 30-year-old man identified as Jawad died due to electrocution in the Qalandpura Bazar area of Harbanspora. The deceased was electrocuted by the electric board, the dead body was shifted to the mortuary.
In another incident, a 28-year-old citizen Ijaz died due to electrocution in OPF Society on Raiwand Road. He was electrocuted by an electric pole and his dead body was also shifted to the mortuary.
