LESCO to hand over printing and delivery of bills to post offices from July 25
Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has decided to hand over printing and delivery of bills to local post offices with effect from July 25, 2025, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.
It is necessary to mention here that the Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) may not receive the Rs3 billion subsidy from the federal government for electricity bills this month, putting potential relief for millions of consumers at risk.
According to LESCO sources, the delay in subsidy approval from the Ministry of Power Division means the bills for many consumers—especially badges 1 and 2—are being printed without the expected relief.
The subsidy case, usually submitted by the 6th of every month, will now be resubmitted on Monday. If not approved in time, printed bills will go without the subsidy, leaving many consumers to bear the full charges.
LESCO awaits the ministry’s green signal to adjust the upcoming bills accordingly.
