Yet another miscreant involved in May 9 riots held

The law-enforcement agencies (LEAs) have arrested yet another person who was involved in incidents of violence on May 9, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Sohrab, belonging to Mandesh in Lower Dir, who played a major role in acts of vandalism and arson, was arrested after identification.

On the other hand, admitting the role of his nephew in riots, Sohrab’s uncle has said that he strongly condemned what happened on that day.

He has further said that he would like to advise parents to keep their children, especially youth, from falling prey to anti-army rhetoric which is poisoning their minds.

Thousands of people took to streets in different cities of the country after the arrest of former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan on May 9.

They ransacked and burnt the buildings belonging to Pakistan Army besides damaging the memorials of martyrs.

The entire nation was in a state of shock following these incidents.
