Punjab govt opens shrines for devotees

The Punjab government on Wednesday decided to open 544 shrines in the province for devotees with strict implementation of SOPs devised by the provincial government, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Punjab Auqaf Department on Tuesday demanded the government to open the shrines and allow the devotees.

It has been estimated that due to the lockdown restrictions the Auqaf Department had suffered a loss of Rs260 million.
