The dangerous hobby of the rich to keep wild animals at homes is posing a real threat to their fellow beings, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

One such incident has happened in the Gulberg area of Karachi on Thursday where a ‘pet’ lion pounced upon a child when the owner of the wild cat brought him outside his house apparently for a showoff appearance. 

The video of lion attacking the child has gone viral.

It could be seen in the video that a lion is standing outside a house and several onlookers are surrounding the animal. Then suddenly the lion got hold of a child standing in the crowd.

A man named Umar brought the wild cat out clearly in an attempt to impress the other people of his ‘valuable possession’.

One wonders how the rich people do flout the safety rules and are given permission to keep mini zoos at homes while putting other people’s lives in danger. 

It is still not known whether Mr Umar, owner of the lion, did have the licence for the wild animal or not. 

But so far the police have not registered a case against him.
