Usman Buzdar’s frontman comes under NAB’s scanner

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has started investigation into illegal recruitments made in University of the Punjab (PU) allegedly by Fayyaz Buzdar, frontman of former Punjab chief minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday. 

Sources told 24News TV channel that Fayyaz allegedly received millions of rupees in bribe for the purpose.  

They explained that not only that he also attended several meetings at the university. 

They disclosed that a grade-19 vacancy was allegedly filled without issuing a call-up letter and an interview.

Not only that, they went on to say, senior professors were neglected and a junior professor was appointed the university pro-vice-chancellor.  

The NAB has also sought complete record of recruitments from the university.
