Injured Saim Ayub, Fakhar Zaman to miss Pak-Australia ODI series 

Batsmen Saim Ayub and Fakhar Zaman will not be available for the Pakistan-Australia one-day international (ODI) series, which will begin on May 30, due to injuries, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

Both batsmen are presently recovering from their injuries and are going through rehabilitation under the supervision of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) medical staff.

The PCB has expressed good wishes for both the players, and it will soon issue an update on the players’ fitness.

The upcoming Pakistan-Australia One Day International (ODI) series is scheduled to take place in Pakistan from May 30 to June 4, 2026.

The white-ball tour features three matches to be played across two venues in Rawalpindi and Lahore.

Kangroos are scheduled to arrive in Islamabad on May 23, while Pakistan’s squad is expected to begin preparations from May 22 in Rawalpindi, where the players will hold a training camp and play a practice match before the series begins.
