COAS for enhancing bilateral cooperation with Egypt
Egyptian Ambassador to Pakistan Tarek Mohamed Dahroug called on Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters on Friday, said a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
According to the ISPR, during the meeting between the COAS and the Egyptian envoy matters of mutual interest, regional security and cooperation in all fields of defence and security were discussed.

The Army Chief said that Pakistan and Egypt enjoy brotherly relations and emphasized the need for enhancing bilateral cooperation in all spheres.
The visiting dignitary also appreciated Pakistan’s efforts for regional peace and stability.
A day earlier, US Charge d’Affaires Angela Aggeler met Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and discussed the regional security situation and the Afghan peace process.
