A suspected robber has been killed and another has been arrested in an alleged encounter with lawmen, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

According to police, the incident took place in Nawab Town where the outlaws were fleeing after committing a crime. 

As the Dolphin Squad started chasing them, they started firing. A heavy contingent of police joined the Dolphin team.

Exchanged of fire left one of the dacoits dead while the other was arrested.

A motorcycle and weapons were recovered from the possession of the accused, police sources said.

SP Dolphin Tauqeer Naeem heaped praise on his team and reiterated his force’s resolve to continue public service bravely.
