The employees of the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Tuesday staged a protest over the delay in the implementation of the time-scale promotion announced by the Prime Minister, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.  

The protesters, under the umbrella of the PIMS Paramedical Staff Association, Nursing Association, and Non-Gazetted Staff Welfare Association chanted slogans to press their demand. They warned that if their demands are not met, the scope of the protest will be widened. 

They were of the view that the legitimate time scale of employees’ promotion orders has not been issued despite the lapse of three months. 

However, they ended their protest after giving a 48-day ultimatum to the Pims management.
