Faizan Ahmed completes journey in 22 days: Young student warmly welcomed after reaching Skardu
A young student from Lahore, Faizan Ahmed, has set a new example of determination, courage and hard work by completing a 1,100-kilometre running journey from Lahore to Skardu in 22 days.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, Faizan completed the long-distance run and reached Skardu after 22 days, marking the achievement as a record-setting feat.
He received a warm welcome on his arrival in Skardu, where a special celebration was held at the Polo Ground.
The national flag was raised during the event as supporters celebrated his achievement.
The 1,100-kilometre running campaign was described as an example of determination, hard work and the courage of Pakistan’s young people.
Government College University (GCU) Lahore psychology student Faizan Ahmed Faiz had started his journey on August 28, aiming to set a new national record and raise awareness among young people about the dangers of drug abuse.
