Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh welcome second baby girl
Bollywood power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have welcomed their second child, a baby girl, nearly two years after the birth of their first daughter, Dua.
The couple shared the happy news on social media with a simple announcement featuring a baby’s footprint and the words, “Welcome Baby Girl!”.
The post also carried the date 19 | 9 | 2026 and was signed by “Dua, Deepika & Ranveer.”
Deepika and Ranveer had announced their second pregnancy in April 2026.
In the days leading up to the birth, the couple shared glimpses of their maternity journey and were also spotted seeking blessings at Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple, a visit that reminded fans of their similar visit before Dua’s birth in 2024.
The couple’s journey began on the sets of Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela in 2013, where their on-screen chemistry eventually developed into a relationship off screen.
They reportedly got engaged privately in 2015 before tying the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony at Lake Como, Italy, in November 2018.
Professionally, both actors have built successful careers in Bollywood.
Deepika has delivered acclaimed performances in films including Piku, Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat and Pathaan, while Ranveer has earned recognition through projects such as Band Baaja Baaraat, Lootera, Bajirao Mastani, Gully Boy, 83 and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
The couple welcomed their first daughter, Dua, on September 8, 2024.
With the arrival of their second baby girl, Deepika and Ranveer have now become parents to two daughters.
