Woman dies, husband injured in firing over domestic dispute

A woman died on the spot, while her husband was injured on Sunday, in an alleged firing incident that took place during a domestic dispute in Veer village of Okara, reported 24NewsHD TV.

Officials said that there was a minor argument between the husband and wife, during which the husband allegedly pulled out a pistol. When the wife tried to grab it, gunshots were fired accidentally.

The investigating officer said that the deceased woman was identified as Samina Bibi, while the husband was also hit by a bullet, leaving him injured. The deceased woman and the injured man were shifted to the hospital for medical assistance.

Police officials added that further investigation into the incident is underway.
