The government has started making the lists of ‘corrupt’ officers and staff in the power distribution companies, setting off alarm bells ringing in these departments, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
Sources told 24News that as per the directives of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), the Power Division has given instructions to all Discos to disclose the assets of their employees till April 26.
Sources further told that details of assets of the officials and employees have been sought from the dates of their joining till June 30, 2020.
Similarly, Discos have also been directed to give details of the implementation of transfer policy from the rank of a lineman to a chief engineer.
Similarly, the power distribution companies have been asked to give details of the feeders where power outages are frequent.
The Discos have also been asked to submit all the details in Power Division by April 26.
