Two assailants were also killed as police retaliated 

On the other hand, ASI was martyred by firing of unknown persons at Bara Secretary Bridge Peshawar check post. The lawmen and rescuers rushed to the spot and shiftd the injured to hospital.

The area has been cardonned off and the law men has launched a hunt for the culprits.

Earlier in the month, five cops embraced martyrdom in a rocket and gun attack in the Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). According to the police officials, the rocket attacked followed the fierce firefight.
