Educational institutes to open from January 1?

All Pakistan Colleges and Academies Association has announced to open all the educational institutes from January 1, reported City42 News Channel.
The association also demanded of the government to take back the decision to commercialise the electricity tariffs for the educational institutes.
In a press conference, the association has announced to open all the educational institutes in the whole country from January 1.
It may be mentioned that the government has announced the closure of the educational institutes in the wake of the second wave of the coronavirus till January 10 and a decision to reopen the institutes is yet to be taken by the government.

However, Association chairman Rana Ansar said they would open all the colleges from January throughout the country as the closure was affecting the academic year.
During the press conference, Rana Adil said Punjab government has registered cases against the teachers after December 17 rally and if the government tried to arrest the teachers they would jam the whole provincial capital.
He demanded of the government to end the cases against more than 500 teachers at the earliest.
During the press conference, the teachers also shouted the slogan “Ustad Ko Izzat Dou” (Give respect to the teacher).
