Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Sunday telephoned Chief Election Commissioner Raja Sikandar Sultan and assured him of full cooperation in the by-elections, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Raja Sikandar Sultan informed the Sindh Chief Minister that the Election Commission will take all possible steps to make the elections peaceful, free and fair and no negligence or political interference will be tolerated in this regard.
Raja Sikandar Sultan said the allegations of PTI candidate Nizamuddin Rahmon in Tharparkar are baseless and voting in Tharparkar NA-221 continuing peacefully.
PTI MPA Abur Razzaq Rahmoon alleged that there was pre-planned rigging going on in NA-221 by-election. He expressed satisfaction on the ECP arrangements but PTI’s polling agents have not been granted access to the polling stations.

Earlier in the day in Tharparkar miscreants set ablaze the polling station in Karor Kaisaar Saman reducing the ballot papers and boxes to ashes after which the law-enforcing personnel arrested PTI leader Amanullah Samon along with his supporters.
