A youth was shot dead in a hotel room in Faizabad area of Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday. 

Police and other law enforcement agencies reached the crime scene and started their investigation.

They collected evidence from the crime scene, recorded statements of hotel staff and shifted the body to a hospital for post-mortem.
