Power companies apply for cut in profits

Believe it or not! Quaid-i-Azam Solar Company and Punjab thermal companies have filed applications in Nepra to lower their profits, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
Quaid-i-Azam Solar Company applied for reducing their profit by Rs1.45 per unit while Quaid-i-Azam Thermal Company is ready to cut its profit by nine paisas per unit.
Punjab Thermal Power Plant moved forward the application for lowering its profit by seven paisas per unit.
The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) has admitted the applications regarding reduction in the profits.
