Don’t see elections taking place, says Fawad Ch

Former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry Friday said, “I do not see elections taking place,” reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

While talking to the media in the district and sessions courts in Islamabad, Fawad Chaudhry ditched a question put to him by a journalist about the confessional statement of former principal secretary to the prime minister Azam Khan, saying: “There is a Test match going on between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.”

Another journalist asked: “Will you participate in elections?”

Fawad Chaudhry replied: “I will participate in elections. [But] I do not see elections taking place. When elections were not held within 90 days in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), they can do now whatever they want.”

He added: “I have no role in Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP). No politics is happening.”
