US troops pull out from Afghanistan postpones Imran Khan’s UK visit

Prime Minister Imran Khan has postponed his visit to the U.K. that was scheduled for next month, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Monday.

The Prime Minister was recently invited to the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson in the telephonic conversation between the two leaders.

Sources claimed that the Prime Minister decided not to visit Britain at this time due to the country’s internal security, political and security situation in the region.

Now sources claim that PM Imran Khan will travel to the U.K at the end of this year.

Sources claimed that the Prime Minister has decided that he would himself monitor the post US troops withdrawal from Afghanistan ending the 20-year long war.

On June 07, PM was invited to watch the first match between England and Pakistan in upcoming Pakistan’s cricket team tour of England in July.

On June 2, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (U.K.) Boris Johnson saluted Prime Minister Imran Khan for environmental leadership efforts to combat climate change by committing to plant 10 billion trees

Boris Johnson said, “I salute what Prime Minister Imran Khan is doing to replan mangroves which are vital for hovering up co2. We can plant 10 billion trees in the U.K but we promise we will help you whatever we can to tackle climate change and to reduce our emissions.”
