BJP issues notice to demolish 1,000-year-old Ganj-e-Shaheedan Mosque in UP
Bhartia Janta Party’s (BJP) Hindutva leadership in India is busy erasing the history and identity of Muslims, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Completing the Hindutva agenda, the Modi government has set out to erase the religious and cultural existence of Muslims.
The 1,000-year-old Ganj-e-Shaheedan mosque in Uttar Pradesh is also a target of the anti-Muslim Modi government.
According to the Indian magazine Muslim Mirror, a notice has been issued to demolish the 1,000-year-old historical mosque Ganj-e-Shaheedan in the city of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
The BJP government has demolished more than 23 mosques, madrasas, Eidgahs and dargahs in 45 days.
The Hindutva government has targeted Muslim religious places, from a 1,000-year-old mosque to a 200-year-old dargah.
Since May, the BJP has demolished 20 religious places, including mosques, dargahs and madrasas have been done.
A 600-year-old shrine in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, India, was demolished after the court did not grant relief.
Pakistan President Asif Zardari expressed deep concern over the Ganj-e-Shaheedan Mosque and said India should immediately stop such actions and ensure the protection of minority rights and common cultural heritage.
Human rights organization Justice Paral expressed deep concern over the demolition of historic Muslim religious sites in India and the threats they pose.
