Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Vice-President Shah Mahmood Qureshi has once again appealed to the people of South Punjab to vote for a separate province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Speaking to the media at his residence Bab Al Quresh in Multan, Shah Mahmood said only PTI will create the province of South Punjab.

Qureshi said yesterday was the biggest rally in the history of South Punjab, adding for which he is grateful to the people of Multan and South Punjab.

The former foreign minister said a similar rally took place in 2014 but an unfortunate incident took place, adding that despite the scorching heat yesterday, a sea of people came to attend the rally.

Shah Mahmood said he has no greed for any ministry, adding that if a separate provice can be formed then he will understand that the purpose of entering politics has been achieved.

Shah Mahmood lashed out at Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and went on to say that Nawaz and Shehbaz created division in the region by raising the slogan of Bahawalpur province.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi further said that for the first time the budget of South Punjab has been handled in the form of book.

Qureshi said: "I will expose those who conspired to divide South Punjab in the name of capital."
