Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Sindh Affairs Arbab Ghulam Rahim Sunday demanded ending the 18th amendment and restoration of article 58(2) b of the constitution of Pakistan.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the SAPM Arbab addressed the media at Insaf House in Umar Kot and said that as long as the president and governor had the power to dissolve the assembly, swords were hanging over all the thugs and they remained in control.

The SAPM said that the way of imposing Governor Raj in the province was included in the Constitution of Pakistan.

Demanded repealing the 18th Amendment, he said that Article 58 (2) b to dissolve the government from the President should be re-enacted as his party was ready to accept it to maintain check and balance on politicians.

He urged the workers to prepare for the local body elections and increase their contact with the masses in Sindh province.
