Yet another fire incident reported in Karachi

Fire erupted at a shop in Soldier Bazaar in Karachi early Sunday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
However, the firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze and the cooling process was underway till the filing of this report.
Incidents of fire have become frequent in the port city in recent times as only yesterday (Saturday, November 21) an oil tanker parked at the petrol pump of Pakistan State Oil (PSO) caught fire.
The petrol pump was located near Saddar Parking Plaza. Fire hydrants rushed to the spot and successfully extinguished the fire and saved the petrol pump.
No human loss, however, was reported in the incident.
In yet another incident on Saturday, fire destroyed at least 360 huts in Karachi but there were no reports of any casualties in the incident.
The fire broke out in huts near Teen Hatti Pul in the Liaquatabad area of the megacity.
Three fire tenders have reached the scene and succeeded in extinguishing the blaze after hectic efforts. The cause of the fire had yet to be ascertained.
