BTS’ Jung Kook new world cup song ‘Dreamers’ wins hearts at opening ceremony in Qatar

BTS’ Jung Kook’s soundtrack titled Dreamers for the World Cup 2022 was launched at the opening ceremony of the football World Cup 2022. It was a moment of pride for BTS and ARMY, when Jungkook performed Dreamers at the opening ceremony.

The vocalist sang the peppy track to enthralled audiences. Jungkook later appeared on VLive, thanked fans for rooting for him throughout, and also mentioned his ever-supportive members. He also showed the celebratory ‘Dreamers’ cake that he had received.

He nervously asked fans, “Was my performance okay? Honestly I couldn’t do the monitoring. I couldn’t hear my voice as well in the rehearsal.” When fans reassured him that he did well, he responded with a smile, “Thank you.”

The song was instant as it has been viewed by 339,858 viewers on their YouTube channel. Earlier, Bighit Music announced the song would be released on Nov 20.

The youngest BTS member also performed at the opening ceremony of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
