Bilawal Bhutto Zardari visits Shikarpur to condole Agha Siraj Durrani family

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday visited Kot Durrani in Tehsil Garhi Yasin, Shikarpur, to offer condolences to the family of late former Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani.

Bilawal Bhutto expressed grief over the demise of Agha Shahbaz Durrani, son of Agha Siraj Durrani, and extended condolences to Agha Siraj Durrani’s brothers — Agha Shujauddin Khan Durrani, Agha Masihuddin Khan Durrani, and Agha Rafiuddin Khan Durrani.

The PPP chairman also conveyed sympathy to Agha Siraj Durrani’s nephews — Agha Muhammad Khan Durrani, Agha Hamza Khan Durrani, Barrister Agha Ali Khan Durrani, and Barrister Agha Mustafa Khan Durrani — as well as to his sons-in-law, including Usman Mirza, Shehryar Ajmal, and Aziz Agha Arshad Khan Durrani.

Bilawal Bhutto offered Fateha for the departed soul and prayed for the family’s patience and strength. He was accompanied by Mir Nader Ali Magsi, Khurshid Junejo, Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Khan Mehr, Jamil Soomro, and other PPP leaders.

Speaking on the occasion, Bilawal Bhutto said Agha Siraj Durrani endured severe hardships during the dictatorship but remained steadfast in the ideology of Bhuttoism. He added that Durrani’s decades-long political and public service would always be remembered.

“Such characters who pave the way for future generations through their struggle deserve to live forever in history,” Bilawal remarked.
