Dacoits gunned down in Lahore police 'encounter'

Two alleged dacoits were killed, and their accomplice escaped after an ‘encounter’ with police in the Chung area of Lahore, 24News HD TV Channel reported on Wednesday.
According to police, the dacoits opened fire on police at a barricade when they were given a signal to stop for checking.
When police on suspicion asked three bike riders to stop near Dental College, LDA Avenue, they instead opened fire on the police, who retaliated against them, and they escaped towards Milad Chowk.
As a result of crossfire, two suspected outlaws were injured and breathed their last before being shifted to the hospital. The dead dacoits were identified as Usman and Waseem.
The investigation team at Chung Police Station has launched a search operation to arrest the fleeing suspect. 
The dead bodies of the robbers were shifted to the hospital for medicolegal procedures. The police wanted them for many serious crimes.
