Punjab government of Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has made a decision to approve the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Ehsaas Ration Program from the provincial assembly.
For this purpose, the Law Department has prepared a draft to legalize the Program which will be enacted under the name of the Ehsaas Act, 24News HD TV channel reported on Monday.
The channel report said that the Punjab government will protect the program permanently by giving legal status to the program.
In this regard, a meeting was also held in the Finance Department of Punjab. The PTI in its last regime had started the Ehsaas Roshan Program for low-income people.
The report said that help from philanthropists will also be sought to run the Ehsaas Ration Program more effectively.
