Following the former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan’s decision to put off today’s rally at Tarnol in Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Ali Amin Gandapur, too, on Thursday announced the postponement of the event, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In a video message, he said that on the order of the PTI founder, he announced the postponement of the rally. “Once again Imran has proved that he is not the one who wants conflict with the state institutions and the government,” he said, adding, “This is because he thinks about the country and its people.”

Therefore, Gandapur went on to say, the present government should also abide by the laws and the constitution.

The chief minister said that now the PTI would hold a power show on September 8.
