5780 schools in Punjab to get Tablet computers

Punjab Education department has decided to distribute Tablet computers to 5780 schools across the province under the education project. 

Tablets will be distributed among 445 schools in Lahore, 439 schools in Faisalabad and 211 schools in Multan division. The tablets will be handed over to the relevant authorities on August 25 and 26. 

Tablets have already been provided to thousands of primary schools. Education authorities ordered to collect tablets from the Program Monitoring Unit.  Moreover, the government has decided to monitor school funds, expenses and enrollment online.
