Another Hafeez vs Sarfaraz showdown in the offing

It would be the first instance when two former captains Sarfaraz Ahmed and Muhammad Hafeez would face-off in person after their bickering on Twitter when Lahore Qalandars meet Quetta Gladiators Monday evening.
The two senior players of the Pakistan team, who have almost can be attributed as former players as well, when both locked their horns on social media.
That all started when Hafeez posted an encrypted tweet to praise wicketkeeper batsman M Rizwan after he scored a brilliant ton against South Africa in the first Twenty20 at Lahore by asking what he has to be done more to be considered the number one wicketkeeper of Pakistan.
Sarfaraz could not bear the praise that also contained a veiled attack on his integrity as well and reminded Hafeez that everyone who represented Pakistan so far was the number one wicketkeeper of his era.
Hafeez then termed Sarfaraz a shallow-minded person who got exposed.
This bickering also put fans into a social media frenzy as both sides fans hit each player hard for such comments and even the PCB has to intervene to put an end to this infighting between the players.
However, it seems Sarfaraz, who has been sidelined since long and is out of favour due to Rizwan’s exploit in front and behind the wickets, is yet to give in as he has put himself into a direct confrontation when he ‘does a Rizwan’ in the first T20 of the PSL against Karachi Kings to open the innings but failed miserably.
Rizwan is currently opening the innings for Pakistan in the white ball cricket and Sarfaraz, who is struggling with his form with the willow since long, has made a desperate attempt to win his spot back in the team. On the contrary, Rizwan is in a rich form and hit another fifty-plus score against Islamabad United.
So, when Qalandars and Gladiators would meet tonight, the eyes would be on Hafeez and Sarfaraz that how they would behave and would they show any camaraderie between them or would remain at the loggerheads.
