Senior Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said on Sunday that many problems could be solved only if PTI improved its conduct, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Speaking to the media during his visit to the site of BRT project in Karachi, he said he had no idea when the PTI founder Imran Khan would be released. “However, one thing is clear that the PTI leaders are not much bothered about the release of Imran,” he said, and added that in the holy month of Ramadan, he prayed to the Almighty Allah for Imran’s long life and good health.

The minister said that controversial statements should not emanate from the Governor’s House. “Let the sanctity of the House remain intact.”

He said work was underway on mega projects in Karachi. “Underpasses are being built and roads are being constructed in the port city. Work is underway despite the holy month of Ramadan,” he added.

Speaking about delay in the completion of BRT project, the minister said that there were some challenges which resulted in the delay. “Let me tell you, there was no bad intention,” he said.

He lamented that some people tried to politicize the issue and spread disillusionment in masses. “But we are determined to finish these projects.”

Memon further said that work would start on Shahrah-e-Bhutto up to M-9 either at the end of March or in the beginning of April.

He informed that work on the University Road and Jinnah Avenue would finish in two to four months.
