PDM playing role in spreading coronavirus: Firdous

Special Assistant to CM on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has regretted that PDM played its role in increasing the intensity of corona by holding gatherings.

In a statement Friday, the SACM said 714 new cases were reported during the last 24 hours in Punjab. 16635 tests were also conducted and 25 others lost their lives during this period. The total number of corona patients has reached to 151603, she added.

While criticising the political role of the opposition parties, Dr Awan said that even the political jokes of the PDM leadership have lost attraction adding that their resignation snare has also failed to trap anything. Similarly, the long march call turned out to be a political burden, she added.

“Now, this political cabal is moving from pillar to post for face-saving but to no avail. In fact, the Maulana and his two disciples are deceiving each other through flop shows. It is regrettable that the political thieves are blinded in their lust for power but their PDM stunt has failed to take off.”

The SACM expressed the satisfaction that Pakistan is led by a daunting leader while Punjab is managed by an honest and public friendly Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.

This cabal has no value before true and patriotic leaders and there is no room for looters and thieves in the new Pakistan, she emphasised.

The politics of honesty and public service will prevail, concluded the SACM.
