A woman was allegedly tortured and poisoned to death by her husband and father-in-law in Gujranwala, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

Victim Kiran Shehzadi recorded her video statement on her deathbed in which she said that she got married to Umair Afzal, the owner of famous Al Meraj Bakers in Gujranwala.

Soon after their marriage, he and his father Haji Sheikh Afzal used to brutally torture her. “My husband was a psycho,” she added.

Tired of torture, she left his home and went to her mother’s home. Later, her husband and father-in-law came to her mother to bring her home.

While they were on their way to home, they stopped near Model Town Park where her husband gave her an intoxicated juice. After taking that juice, she fell unconscious. Their cruelty further exposed when they left her there and fled away. Kiran’s brother took her to Civil Hospital in Gujranwala.
