One of Pakistan’s top models Zara Abid was on the ill-fated PIA passenger plane which crashed in Karachi a minute before landing at the airport on Friday afternoon

The fate of Zara Abid was not clear yet as rescue work was in full swing in Karachi’s Model Colony with dozens of the injured being shifted to hospitals.

The crash comes just days after Pakistan began allowing commercial flights to resume after planes were grounded due to the lockdown over the coronavirus pandemic.

However, rumours on social media are circulating that top Pakistani model Zara Abid was also on board the PIA flight that crashed.

Her phone is switched off and her fans expressed the hope that they will be able to see her soon along with all other passengers.

Her name is mentioned in the list of the passengers shared by the PIA officials on social media.
