PDM body mulls challenging govt bills

Several issues will be taken up for discussion at the Pakistan Democratic Movement’s (PDM), an opposition parties’ alliance, steering committee meeting, which is presently underway in Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
PML-N’s Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is chairing the meeting.
24News has learnt that the parties, part of the alliance, will mull challenging dozens of bills passed by the government hurriedly at the joint session of the parliament a few days ago.
Furthermore, the committee will chalk out the strategy to be adopted against the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government in future.
It will particularly prepare recommendations for the proposed long march from Lahore to Islamabad.
The steering committee will submit its recommendations to the PDM parties’ heads meeting to be held tomorrow (Tuesday).
