Gold price continues to hit ceiling

The price of 24 karats per tola gold witnessed an increase of Rs550 on Tuesday and was sold at Rs159,050 against its sale at Rs158,500, the previous day.

The price of 10 gram 24 karats also increased by Rs472 and was sold at Rs136,360 against Rs135,888, the previous day.

Likewise, 10 grams of 22-karat gold were being traded for Rs 124,996.

All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported that the price of gold in the international market increased by $8 and was sold at $1,748.

The rates of pure silver of 24 karats remained unchanged at Rs1,690 and 10 grams of silver of 24 karats at Rs1,448.90.

The gold rate in Pakistan is fluctuating according to the international market so the price is never been fixed.
