A Pakistani returned from India where he served over a decade in jail, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

Waris Masih was handed over to Rangers authorities at the Wagah border. According to sources, he was arrested on May 9, 2011, in Amritsar on charges of illegal border crossing and drug smuggling.

Waris Masih is a resident of Narowal in the border area of Punjab. He will be handed over to his family after security clearance.
