Tourists alerted after snowfall forecast for Neelum Valley

The administration of Neelum district in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) on Friday issued an alert for the tourists following prediction of thundershowers and snow over the mountain tops in the Neelum Valley by the weather department, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The met department has forecast hostile weather in the valley between Friday (October 22) to Sunday (October 24).
Alerting the emergency response units to deal with any eventuality, the district administration and the Disaster Management Authority said that rains and snow could trigger landslides in the valley; therefore, tourists and even locals should avoid travelling from Friday to Sunday.
