PTI’s Azam Swati released from Adiala Jail

PTI Senator and former federal minister Azam Swati, who had been granted bail by a special court in Islamabad in controversial tweets case yesterday (Friday, October 21, 2022), was released from the Adial Jail, Rawalpindi today, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday. 

However, no senior leader of the PTI was present outside the jail to receive him. 

Earlier, Sohail Khan Advocate, on behalf of the PTI leader, deposited a surety bond of Rs1 million in the court. 

Special Judge Central Raja Asif Mehmood had granted bail to Swati yesterday. 

The 66 years old PTI senator had been arrested by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) from Islamabad on Oct 13, 2022 for his controversial tweet.
