A 12-year-old girl was murdered after rape in the Sindh capital, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.

The tragic incident took place in the Bengali Para area of Karachi, inviting ire among relatives and residents.

They took to the streets to press their demand for bringing to book the culprit of the rape and murder of the 12-year-old.

Police reached the site and assured the aggrieved protesters of nailing the accused.

Later, the demonstrators dispersed and performed the last rites of victim.
