Business week at Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) ended on a negative note on Friday as the KSE-100 Index dropped by 222 points, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.  

The 100 Index closed at 44706 after dropping by 0.50 per cent. 

Some 240 million shares worth Rs11.78 billion were traded on Friday. 

Due to fall in the prices of shares, the market capitalization dipped by Rs45 billion.
