Gold price dives by Rs5,200 in Pakistan
The prices of gold decreased in the local market on Thursday, with 24-karat gold per tola falling by Rs5,200 to settle at Rs493,762 compared to Rs498,962 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs4,458 to Rs423,321 from Rs427,779, whereas 10 grams of 22-karat gold went down by Rs4,087 to Rs388,058 against Rs392,145.
In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $52 to $4,714 per ounce from $4,766.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola decreased by Rs225 to Rs8,099 from Rs8,324, while the price of 10 grams of silver also declined by Rs193 to Rs6,943 from Rs7,136.
The price of silver in the international market decreased by $2.25 to $76.15 per ounce from $78.40.
